Jean-Charles Thillays is Director of Cruise Operations for Club Med's luxury brand, the Exclusive Collection, and is responsible for the legendary Club Med 2, the world's largest five-masted sailing yacht. He oversees the ship's strategic development, operations, and commercial performance at the intersection of luxury hospitality, experiential travel, and maritime tourism.

After beginning his career ashore in passenger ship port operations, he transitioned to a seagoing career and has spent nearly twenty years in the cruise industry, developing expertise in ship operations, guest experience, itinerary planning, and cruise management. Since joining Club Med, he has played a key role in strengthening Club Med 2's positioning as a unique boutique sailing cruise experience within the luxury cruise market.
He is currently focused on product innovation, sustainability, operational excellence, and the development of distinctive itineraries that combine authentic destinations with the intimacy and flexibility of a sailing yacht.
